Range

Found naturally only on Lancelin Island, off the coast of Lancelin, Western Australia. In 2003, a second population was established on Favourite Island, Jurien Bay, founded from lizards bred at Perth Zoo.

A sole mainland record of this species is thought to be of an accidentally translocated individual, as further survey work at the mainland location has found no additional specimens.
