Range

Occurs from Broome, Western Australia, east through the Kimberley and Top End of the Northern Territory to at least Camooweal in Queensland, extending south in the Northern Territory to about Ti Tree.

Found in the following Australian states/territories

Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland

Habitat

Mostly heavy soils and rocky ranges, although present in many sandy areas.
