DescriptionEntirely lacking limbs; snout rounded, rather than wedge-shaped in profile; lower eyelid moveable; interparietal scale distinct (unfused) from frontoparietals.2 Similar speciesUnique among Queensland Lerista in entirely lacking limbs.2 However, without close inspection, it might be confused with vine-thicket fine-lined slider (Lerista cinerea), nubbined fine-lined slider (Lerista colliveri), or Mount Surprise slider (Lerista storri). The only other Lerista that entirely lacks limbs is the Dampierland limbless slider (Lerista apoda), which occurs in the vicinity of Broome, Western Australia. Taxonomic notes
This species was described by Greer in 1979.2
