Etymology  Myron: possibly after the ancient Greek sculptor, Myron.1
richardsonii: after Sir John Richardson, collector of the original specimen2.

Grey/brown above. Lighter irregular flecks.

Similar species

Resetar's mangrove snake (Myron resetari) - has 19 midbodies (versus 21); largest upper labial scale is 5th (versus 6th or 7th).3
