Pronunciation  SUE-tah   or-DENN-siss
Etymology  Suta: 'stitched-(one)', after the reticulate pattern.
ordensis: 'from the Ord River region'.

This species might just represent a variation of the widespread curl snake (Suta suta).

Ventrals   165 to 185 with a single anal scale
Subcaudals   30 to 40 and are single
