Description

Grey/brown above with irregular darker spots. White/cream below. Relatively broad snout. Two rows of nuchal shields, separated anteriorly from the smooth-skinned parietal region by more than eight granular scales.

Similar species

Freshwater crocodile (Crocodylus johnstoni) - has only one row of nuchal scales
